AKTIONSART and American Patrons of Tate present "Collecting Video Art", a panel discussion with the world's foremost video art collector, Pamela Kramlich, Jack Lane (Director, New Art Trust) and Frances Morris (Head of Collections, Tate). The conversation will focus on how Mrs. Kramlich and her husband collect new media and partner with cultural institutions to preserve and share their collection with future generations. Sir Nicholas Serota, director of Tate, will join us.
Pamela and Richard Kramlich founded the New Art Trust in 1997 with the goal of advancing media arts through the support of research and scholarship in the field. NAT has since formed a partnership with three major museums - MoMA, SFMOMA, and Tate - dedicated to public education and intensive research related to the special requirements of media artworks.
Produced by Aktionsart, in partnership with American Patrons of Tate and Core Club.
Organized by Julia Fryett and Richard Hamilton.
